
Martha Snowdrop was born on 14 February 1896,
At this time, Henry and Martha were living at 10 Handel Street,in the St Giles
area.
Martha Snowdrop was named for one of Martha's sisters,who had been
in a play about 'snowdrops'.Sadly, Martha's sister died young,and
then Martha Snowdrop died , on 14 July 1896,aged 5 months,of Diarrhoea.
Henry William was born on 18 March 1898,he married Edith HANNAFORD
and they had 2 children. Iris DRABWELL , and Dennis Henry DRABWELL.
Iris married Harold WHITELY. They have 2 children, Brian and Mark.
They live in USA.
Dennis married Irene WOOD.
They have 2 children--Peter and Stephen.
Peter Dennis DRABWELL,
is married to Wendy.
Peter and Wendy have a daughter,Lauren.
Stephen Arthur DRABWELL, is married to Tracey.
Charles Henry married his cousin Sarah Drabwell(daughter of John and Liz)
Charles and Sarah had 6 children.

Jack and his mother Martha

Jack was born on 6 August 1901,when Henry and Martha were living
at 43 Thanet Street,Pancras.
He joined the army about 1919,and was posted to Asia, where Britain
had several colonies.
During his years in the army,Jack served in India, Hong Kong and Singapore.
When he was discharged from the army, he decided to stay in Singapore,
and worked as a Warder in His Majesty's Prisons.
It was at this time that he
sent for his fiance,Alice Margaret TURNER,who was waiting in London.
Jack and Alice were married at St Andrew's Cathedral in Singapore in 1930.
Their son John Frederick was born in Singapore, and their daughter,Pamela Alice
was born in Malaya,now Malaysia.
When World War2 took a turn for the worst in the Asian area, Jack took his family
to Sydney,Australia. After they bought a house and settled in , Jack said 'good-bye' to his
young family and went back to fight for Singapore,in the Singapore Volunteers.
The Japanese came down the Malay Peninsula,and captured Singapore. Jack was interned in Changi,
which had been a civilian prison, and became a prison camp.
During the next 3 years,Jack had a very hard time in Changi Prison Camp
and working on the Burma-Thailand Railway.
He was discharged in England in 1945, and returned to Malaya to his pre-war job.
After this he was pensioned off, medically unfit, and returned to live in
Australia, where he died in 1970.
