Below here is the orginal page as I created it in 1997. This is what a BLOG was like back then. I didn't realise then that I was a fore-runner of the Blog.... a true visionary! ;)

Cats provide much joy and happiness to many people around the world.....Below you can find the cats of some of our friends. These pictures are in the main part not posed for..... although, of course, with a cat who can really tell!!??

If you have a pic of your cat and a bit of a story that you would like to share with everyone then please email us. And we'll put your favourite Moggy here for the world to see....

Muscat is a lovely friendly Ginger and White Tom who lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney......his owners are my dear friends Freda and Wal who operate a great sailing school called SAILWELL
G'day. I was born in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. My colouring is ginger and white. I purrsonally think I'm purrfect. Even my Vet says that I'm too beautiful to be a boy. That's the most sensible thought he's ever had.
I was sitting on a red carpet (which showed me off to advantage) in the tasting room when my new owners appeared. Naturally they took one look at me and were cativated. They took me home in a bus of all things and to this day I do not like travelling in wheeled vehicles.
My owners He and She gave me a suitable name for a ginger and white vineyard cat. Namely MUSCAT. When I was little they called me MUSKIT. He gets up in the morning and gives me breakfast and she feeds me at night. He has a big chest I can lie on and be very comfortable. She is little and round and is very cosy to lie on. She wont let me out at night and wont take meo for an answer.
I love climbing trees (see cat pic), rolling in the grass, jumping in and out of windows, chasing lizards and butterflies. She wont let me chase birds and has put 2 bells around my collar. I'm good at chasing dogs and other cats too.
I like having my chin and ears scratched and tickled. She takes away my hairs with a grooming glove and that really tickles. I hate going to the Vets. He just gives me needles and pops pills down my throat. I don't understand why they rub your throat afterwards. It certainly doesn't amuse meow one little bit.
When She talks on the phone or uses the computer I always help out. This is my C.V., my catriculum vitae. Lots of meows and curling of claws to all out there in cat land.
G.day again----I'm off for a snooze.

Josephine is my cat and she adopted me as a stray in 1992....I had to think and think as to a name for her....As she is a dark Tortoiseshell......(I thought that she was really UGLY when she was a kitten......which may have been why she was dumped!!).....But I decided to call her Josephine after one of my favourite musicals.....Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat".......Get it??? Yeah of course you do.......
Josephine liks to sleep on the end of my bed...and make it hard for me to turn over...she sleeps so much..and her fave place is next to me on the lounge...while I am using the PC. She is a lot of fun....and has a real personality now!!! Anyway she is now a great cat and as of 1997 she is 5 years old....

Gabby belongs to my friend Zoe....they live in Queensland and as you can see Gabby has a good life...she is known to catch the odd frog...and also sends Valentine cards to other cats!!!

Gabby is a two year old seal point siamese who has far too much to say for herself... One of her favourite passtimes is talking. When I get home from work she talks for a good half an hour telling me how her day was. There is no escape, one simply has to listen as she follows you from room to room jumping up on any convenient furniture so as to get close to your ear! She even talks to strangers. She runs up the driveway to greet visitors and tells them all the family secrets. Luckily the visitors don't understand a word she is saying!
She is a very busy cat with business to attend to every waking hour. Her activities include emptying my work trays on my desk of every single peice of paper, demanding pats, telling the dogs how to run their lives, helping to make the bed every morning, supervising showers, cooking, cleaning, gardening etc... She has to accompany everyone to the toilet and sit on their lap for the duration.
She is also very naughty as she catches lizards and in wet weather, frogs. I spend a good deal of my time saving these poor creatures. She has very little interest in food and never asks to be fed. I think she is just far too busy to think about food. She can hardly spare the time to eat anything at all.
Of course I think she is the best cat in the whole world.

This is Squeak...so named due to her very poor attempt at MEOWING.....Squeak was originally from the Western Suburbs of Sydney....which probably explains her chip on her shoulder!! She was originally my cat, but after I moved out of home she stayed and lived with Mum and Dad for the next 17 years. She even enjoyed retirement with Mum and Dad in Gladstone QLD....and flew there in a QANTAS jet! She was not very impressed with the jet but loved the retirement. Squeak was a cat of great character......and definitely had her likes and DISlikes....she passed away on Saint Patricks Day 1996....and is now in the big Cattery in the sky!
