Week 6

November 22, 1997

Eric went to doctor, who said it was a muscle spasm and gave him drugs. Poor Baby, he’s slow moving!!! Mel went and got Eric a hot water bottle for his back and when she came down to bring it to us, she saw a lizard. It was a huge blue tongued lizard!!! It was at least a foot and a half long, maybe bigger!! I chased it through the yard, it was fast!!!! And I took some pictures of it, but I doubt they will turn out too good!! Later that night, a possum ran up the tree in front of me. There is lotsa wildlife around here!!!!!

November 23, 1997

Eric was feeling better and moving alot faster. We stopped at Clancy’s and got bread and hundreds and thousands. We went and picked up Thelma, then headed to Freda’s for the Engagement Party. Pete, Meg, Daniel, and Matthew were already there. We opened their gift then coz Daniel had gotten us a present with his own money. From Daniel, we got Aboriginal bookmarks. They are real cute!! And we got a set of 6 mugs with Koalas and Lorikeets and Possums on them. They are really nice!!

November 27, 1997

Went to school with Eric Aussie Meat Pie for lunch, meat and potatoes, chicken pie.

Went to Freda and Wal’s to say bye to Jan and John

Went to Dean and Judy’s for supper, Chicken, Orange Stuffing, sweet potatoes and new potatoes, avocado, mango, and bacon bits salad, tomatoes and onion......For dessert we had Mango, watermelon, cherries, strawberries, lychees, and grapes.
